Introduction
Brief Description about the 12 Apostles
The 12 Apostles is one of Australia's most iconic sights due to its breathtaking scenery and landscape. Furthermore, it is most well-known around the world for its iconic rock formation. The ocean (on which the rocks are situated) covers an area of 20.327 million square kilometres. However, due to a large amount of waste water, the 12 rocks have eroded into eight over the last decade. The 12 Apostles were formed 10-20 million years ago when harsh and violent weather conditions gradually eroded the cliffs into caves, which then eroded into arches and eventually collapsed, resulting in the elegant lime stacks seen today.
