SPICESs-Sustainability

For decades, the 12 Apostles have been negatively impacted by both natural and human factors. It is critical that the necessary and effective steps are taken to preserve the landform. Maintaining the 12 Apostles is critical because it is necessary for the survival of humans, animals, and plants. As a result, resource conservation and environmental protection must be prioritised.

To illustrate, many activities have been prohibited, several pathways have been built that do not intersect with wildlife and nature but still allow people to visit the place and see the landform, as well as blocking several waste water leakers and cancelling or forcing several oil companies and other authorities to relocate outside of the vicinity to reduce the amount of excess petrochemicals. Similarly, all of these contribute to saving the 12 Apostles and preserving it for a much longer period of time, allowing future generations to see the majestic beauty of this place.

The continuation of these critical sustainability measures will most likely improve water quality, preserve biodiversity, and ensure the survival of the limestone stacks. Scientists have stated that if action is not taken to preserve the 12 Apostles, it will cease to exist in a few decades or so, so action to preserve the landform is critical. As a result, once again, environmental sustainability is critical in order to preserve it for future generations.
